SCHOLARSHIP BY FAIR & LOVELY FOUNDATION

Introductions: For Women across the country the new academic year brings new opportunities. The Fair & Lovely Foundation’s commitment to making these opportunities accessible to women from different walks of life stands resolute. The Fair & Lovely Foundation is now accepting applications for the next leg in our yearly scholarships for women. We have already empowered 1057 women across India and helped them fulfill their dreams. If you have a dream and the will to see it through, then this scholarship is for you too.

How to Apply: To apply for the scholarships you can either download the application form and courier it to the Fair & Lovely Foundation, P.O.Box No. 11281, Marine Lines Post Office, Mumbai 400 020. Or you can apply online.

Documents for Application:

• 1 attested photocopy of mark sheets and certificates.
• 2 passport size photographs.
• 1 attested photocopy of family income proof.
• 1 attested photocopy of admission proof.
• 1 copy of statement of purpose – which is an essay of not more than 250-300 words about yourself, your ambition in life and how you will achieve it.

Eligibility:

• This scholarship is for Indian women who wish to pursue graduation, post graduation and PhD studies in India.
• Have cleared HSC and must have secured at least 60% marks in their 10th and 12th examination.
• Have a basic knowledge of English language.
• Scholarships are awarded solely at the discretion of our Panel Judges.
• There is no age limit for the scholarship

Renewal of Scholarship:

Past beneficiaries of the Fair & Lovely Foundation Scholarships can now renew their scholarships for more assistance in further education. To process your renewal application you need to send us the following documents:

• Mark sheets of your last academic year
• A letter from your Principal / HOD on your performance
• A Statement of Purpose which should not be more than 250-300 words and should state how you have benefited from the Fair & Lovely Foundation Scholarship and how would you make the most of this opportunity if provided to you again.

What is the maximum amount offered?

The maximum amount offered is Rs. 1 lakh per annum. The amount that is finally awarded depends on the decision of the panelist who conducts the interview, the course applied for and the financial status of the candidate.

Does the student have to repay the scholarship amount?

No.

What is the duration of this scholarship?

The scholarship is offered for the duration of one year and can be renewed depending on the student's performance.

How to apply?
This Scholarship application form is available by midyear and can be downloaded from the website itself. Candidates have to fill all the required details in the form and provide attested copies of all the listed documents. The candidates can also apply online through the website (Fair & Lovely Scholarship 2010).
